On a daily basis, Matt feels that he is developing both personally and professionally through his coaching here at Blue.
Matt says that his favorite part about being part of our team is “the fun, positive environment that we create in the office. It allows people to be themselves while still staying professional.”

Tiffany is a communications student from Aurora University and she’s new to our admin family. She believes growth in the company is based on merit and not seniority. Tiffany loves adrenaline and wants to be a professional skydiver. Blue taught her to step out of her comfort zone and start conversations on the drop of a dime.
We asked her if she could possess a superpower, what it would be. She said she would love to fly! She loves the sky and the feeling of having wind gushing through her hair. Tiffany is motivated to be the best she can be at everything so that she can make her family happy and and so that she can accomplish her dreams.

The employee of the week is Matt! Matt is from Ohio University and graduated with a sports management degree, which brought him into Blue, a sports oriented company. At Blue, we love motivated people who can run a team, and have fun at the same time. Matt played college baseball and since at Blue, he thinks it’s extremely important to help others because that is how you learn and gain new experiences.
We asked Matt if he could have a superpower, he would be able to fly so that he could travel wherever at any point in time.
Matt believes life is short and you shouldn’t take anything for granted. He is grateful for the privilege to wake up everyday and get better at whatever he is set out to do. He believes you should take advantage of every opportunity and to not give up until you’ve reached your goals.

He says that the most important thing he has learned since his start here is patience. “The training program at Blue promotes personal development and it’s something I try working on in my personal life as well.”
On a lighter note, I asked Tom if he could have any super power at all, what would it be and why and his response was pretty good: “Super human strength! Like the Hulk. I always liked the Hulk’s character as a kid because he was a scientist that pushed the boundaries of science so far that he turned into a super hero. “

Cori Tinch is this week’s Employee Spotlight! Graduating from U of I with a degree in Business Adminstration, Cori says he was drawn to Blue because of his entrepreneurial mindset and drive to be successful and advance. Cori has learned a great deal since his start at Blue, but the biggest thing he has learned is how to become effective in public speaking, getting in front of the room and leading a group of people. Cori says he is motivated by competition, and an opportunity to grow and provide for his daughter.
Thank you Cori for letting us get to know you a little better!
This week’s Employee Spotlight is Ari Kosover. He is relatively new to the Blue staff, but has already made quite an impression and so we are featuring him today. Ari went to UIC and majored in Marketing, and says he always likes being around people, which drew him to our company. He says that one major thing he has learned since his start here is to have an exceptional student mentality. ” I have respect for people that have done what I am doing and trust they will coach me to success … I have an inner motivation to be the best at whatever I put my mind to. Complacency isn’t in my vocabulary.” That is the kind of determination we like to see!
Thank you Ari for letting us get to know you better!
This week’s Employee Spotlight is Dan Webster, or as we all lovingly call him “DWeb”. DWeb is no stranger to the Employee spotlight blog here at Blue, Inc., having been recognized a couple of times before for his leadership skills and really taking the time to train and develop others. However, we stil want to get to know him even better! DWeb says he started working here at Blue because, “I was looking for a fun work environment, where I could gain a ton of experience in the business world.”
The University of Iowa grad certainly has learned a lot and it has paid off. He says the most important thing he has learned since his start here is that “if you want to be successful you have to be internally motivated to go out and get it, nobody is entitled to anything, everything in life is earned.” DWeb says he is most motivated by his girlfriend and his parents, wanting to someday start a family and help his family with no worries.
On an non-business related note, I asked DWeb to give me a funny or interesting fact about him and he definitely delivered. He loves to listen to 90’s gangster rap and he also used to participate in competitive curling (for those who were wondering what competitive curling is, it is like shuffle board on ice). I also asked DWeb what would be his super power if he could have one and he said, “the ability to fly, because I could travel the world without having to worry about airport security lines and would be able to escape any type of zombie apocolypse if one were to occur.”
Thanks DWeb for your clever responses and great insight into what makes a great leader!
This week’s Employee Spotlight is Justin Krueger. A fairly new addition to Blue, Inc and a first time being mentioned on our blog, Justin has certainly made an impact on our company. He says that he has learned that if you keep moving through the hard times in life instead of stopping or changing course, you will definitely reach your goals. The leadership skills Justin values the most are an entrepreneurial mindset as well as strong will power. He chose those because if you have both of those things, you have the staying power and determination to succeed.
Always the life of the party, he prides himself in his ablility to relate and befriend anyone. He has organized some really fun Friends and Family nights, one being renting out a room at a karaoke bar for all of us to sing our hearts out, and ended in our Manager Wrinardo dancing around the room while singing. Justin is able to bring out the fun side in everyone, which is a great skill to have.
Thanks Justin for letting us get to know you, we are all excited for what is to come for you!
This week, our Employee Spotlight is on Mike Falco. Mike has really stepped up his game in terms of leadership around the office here at Blue, Inc. and we are going to get to know him better. He has been here for almost two years, and one of the most important things he has learned is to take more ownership of his situation. ”Think about the person that you want to become then base your decisions around that. I just ask myself if I were the boss, what would I be doing differently right now?” That really is the mindset of a leader!
Mike says his greatest strength is his ability to remain positive and keep his cool in any situation. ”He always has a calming effect on people because he finds the positive in every situation,” says our administrator Panache.
Although he says he can be stubborn and hard headed at times, he always perseveres. ”If you’ve completed a task once successfully, you can do it again and again and be great at it. It requires a lot of repetition, so never give up until you get it right.”
Thank you so much Mike for letting in on your mindset! We are excited for the great things you will do!
